PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI AR (AUGMENTED REALITY) DENGAN METODE MARKER BASED TRACKING UNTUK MENGETAHUI LETAK PERSEBARAN BAHAN TAMBANG DAN HEWAN ENDEMIK DI PULAU KALIMANTAN
Indonesia is a country that has a wealth of resources abundant nature.
Indonesia's natural resources are diverse, one of which is the mining industry
sector in Kalimantan. Kalimantan is the largest island that has natural
resources, especially in the mining industry sector. The development of the
mining industry sector often gets top priority in development plans that are
predominantly applied by developing countries.
Indonesia is also one of the countries that has a diversity of animals,
including endemic animals. Endemic animals are animals that live and are
found only in certain places or islands and are included in protected animals
because there are some endemic animals whose population is small and
almost extinct.
The purpose of this thesis is to make an AR (Augmented Reality) application
with the Marker Based Tracking Method to determine the location of the
distribution of mines and endemic animals on the island of Kalimantan which
can provide convenience to the community and students in knowing the
location of the distribution of mining materials and endemic animals in
Kalimantan, Indonesia with based on image detection using marker.
